Hybrid Working: Your work locations will vary based on your role, business needs, and personal preferences. This will include a mix of office-based work, client sites, and home working, with the understanding that 100% home working is not an option.

Your Role

  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end engagement, including: shaping, defining, delivering and having responsibility for budget management; contract and commercial management; with an expectation to build excellent client relationships and enabling delivery led sales opportunities
  • You will lead cross functional teams of technical engineers, business analysts, product and scrum masters, subject matter experts and change teams, to help clients achieve their objectives of delivery.
  • Day to day, you will lead the execution of a project or program of work, supporting and developing your project team members and ensuring synergy across your project team
  • You will define an approach of delivery that best fits your project or program, being that Agile, Lean or Waterfall or a hybrid model of any of them
  • Owning the project constraints, including budget, timescale, resource, scope, risk and quality parameters and responsible for progress and other reporting to the customer and company
  • Leading the definition, scoping and planning for a project - working closely with key roles in the team (i.e. senior BA, lead architect, s/w engineering lead, DevOps lead and QA).

Your Skills and Experience

  • A passion for and demonstrable experience in managing bespoke software and/or digital development/experience design projects/implementation and integration projects, from inception through to delivery
  • A recognised project management certification, e.g. Prince2, APM, MSP
  • Experience delivering complex projects using an agile framework that may be with several (often distributed -including multi-country) teams, over several phases, and multiple stakeholder groups (including third-party suppliers)
  • Techniques for estimating sizing and tracking projects delivered using an agile framework
  • Experience of using a variety of agile frameworks to deliver projects and a passion for agile ways of working with teams and with your clients
  • General knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack (e.g. Azure, Teams, SharePoint, Office 365) is highly desirable but not essential
  • An understanding of Microsoft Product Dynamics, Power Apps and/ or Cloud technologies is desirable
