Project Director
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a high-value (£80M+) construction project in Birmingham. The Project Director will be responsible for the overall success of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes overseeing project teams, managing stakeholders, budgets, and timelines, while maintaining effective communication across all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the £80M+ construction project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, coordinating resources and schedules.
- Manage and mentor project managers, site teams, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and contract specifications.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and forecasts to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects (£50M+) from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction management tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and managing client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and financial management skills.
