Astute's Renewables team is partnered with an experienced, vertically integrated renewable energy company that has a proven track record of success. Their team has delivered over 300MWp of solar projects across Europe, the USA, and India. Handling every aspect of projects in-house, from development and design to construction and operations, they ensure seamless execution at every stage. As part of its growing portfolio, we are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple solar projects, ensuring successful execution from initial planning to completion.

The Project Manager role comes with a salary of up to 50,000 plus car allowance and benefits.

This is an oversight project management position, where you will manage a number of sites from sub 200kw to 1MW rooftop solutions. Each site will have existing management and your role will be to provide clear oversight and raise escalations to the Construction Manager for the business.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Construction Manager you will;

  • Oversee and manage the broader programme of solar initiatives.
  • Support the overall solar energy programme, managing the portfolio of projects to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide detailed project plans, track key milestones, and adjust schedules as needed to mitigate risks and meet deadlines.
  • Monitor budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for individual projects as well as the overall programme.
  • Facilitate communication between all project and programme stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment across multiple initiatives.
  • Resolve conflicts, address project bottlenecks, and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Support contract management and monitor contractual obligations by project.


Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, business, or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including technical, regulatory, and financial aspects.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
