I'm working with a leading business in Birmingham that is looking for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis, offering up to £65,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits. This role requires being on-site 3 days a week.

The Role

As a Project Manager within the dynamic IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery and reporting of a range of programmes and projects, with a particular focus on CRM systems, especially Salesforce. You will support the team in maximizing the value of resources across the project portfolio. This role focuses on delivering IT capabilities and projects that add value through effective CRM implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery: Manage the planning, documentation, and successful execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, including Salesforce implementations and other IT changes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders during the discovery phase to gather project requirements and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
End-to-End Management: Oversee all phases of assigned projects from initiation to post-implementation support.
Team Leadership: Direct and support both internal team members and external partners.
Risk Management: Identify and maintain project-related risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs), developing strategies to mitigate challenges.
Documentation: Create and maintain essential project management documents, including project initiation documents, progress reports, and business cases.
Vendor Management: Engage and oversee third-party suppliers to deliver solutions.
Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy within Salesforce by implementing data quality standards and complying with regulations such as GDPR.
Collaboration with IT Security: Work with IT and security teams to maintain effective data security protocols.
Protocol Adherence: Follow and recommend improvements to the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
Cross-Functional Support: Assist the IT team with tasks beyond core responsibilities as needed.
Key Skills and Experience

Educational Background: Degree in a technology-related field.
Project Management Certification: Relevant qualifications, such as PRINCE 2 or AMP.
Salesforce Knowledge: Ideally certified in Salesforce Service Cloud.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, system design, and troubleshooting abilities.
Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in project planning, estimation, requirements gathering, and business case development.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, able to convey complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
Professional Experience: Background in managing end-to-end projects in a professional services or finance environment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Skilled in engaging senior stakeholders and managing external supplier relationships.
Relationship Management: Ability to build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.
Willingness to Learn: Eager to acquire new skills and share knowledge; able to remain calm under pressure.
Prioritisation: Strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
