Our client, a leader in the water sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract role based in the Midlands. This role involves managing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors on heavy civil projects, with a preference for candidates with water industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the management of 2-3 small live sites across the Midlands
- Coordinating and managing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Managing client relationships and ensuring excellent client satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
- Preparing and presenting project reports to stakeholders
- Applying broad knowledge of NEC Contracts to manage contractual obligations
Job Requirements:
- Heavy civils experience is mandatory
- Experience in the water sector is preferred
- Strong ability in programming and planning
- Proficiency in the use of NEC Contracts
- Excellent client management skills
- Ability to work effectively with both direct teams and sub-contractors
- Competence in overseeing multiple site operations simultaneously
