Our client, a leader in the water sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract role based in the Midlands. This role involves managing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors on heavy civil projects, with a preference for candidates with water industry experience.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the management of 2-3 small live sites across the Midlands
  • Coordinating and managing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring excellent client satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Preparing and presenting project reports to stakeholders
  • Applying broad knowledge of NEC Contracts to manage contractual obligations


Job Requirements:

  • Heavy civils experience is mandatory
  • Experience in the water sector is preferred
  • Strong ability in programming and planning
  • Proficiency in the use of NEC Contracts
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both direct teams and sub-contractors
