Manpower are recruiting for a Project Manager for our precast manufacturing facility covering the Midlands area. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee various projects based around the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with concrete products.
Job Description
- Management of multiple fitting crew on sites.
- Co-ordinate deliveries for the project with our detailer/despatch office.
- Ensure plant and equipment needed is sourced and available.
- Attend daily/weekly meetings with our client and represent our company accordingly.
- Manage our safety on site and carry out safety audits.
- Manage our quality on site and carry out inspections and issue sign-offs.
- Record progress and manage design changes/delays on site ensuring our project QS is notified daily of any delays and cost implication associated with same.
- Report to Contracts Manager.
Skills and Experience
- Degree Qualified in Civil/Structural or Construction Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years site experience on civil or building projects.
- Ability to maintain high levels of Health & Safety and Quality on site.
- Good engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills essential.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a large team.
This is a permanent position paying in the region of 50k per annum and will be covering the Midlands area so travel will be involved.
