An opportunity has come available for an Electrical Project Manager to work with a leading Electrical & Telecoms sub contractor based in the West Midlands.
To be considered for this role you will need to come from a Electrical background and have a strong understanding of electrical LV systems, although the works will be overseeing railway projects, non rail candidates will still be considered.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage all Electrical work delivered by your team.
- Oversee Electrical projects form inception to completion within deadlines.
- Review and deliver Electrical schemes with clear timescales.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience leading the delivery of Electrical schemes.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical LV systems
- Rail Electrical experience
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including time lines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations are managed throughout the project life cycle.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coordinate, and motivate the project team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs and ensure that they remain within budget.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, proactively addressing them to minimise impact on project time lines and outcomes.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all projects are completed in line with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and ensuring safe working practices.
Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to the management team on the status of ongoing projects, including any challenges and solutions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical installations meet industry standards and adhere to local building codes and regulations.
