Senior Construction Project Manager

A progressive and innovative Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Construction Project Manager.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors, including Commercial, Government, Heritage, Healthcare, and Residential.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

In this pivotal role, the Senior Construction Project Manager will be crucial to the consultancy, delivering strategic advice to clients to optimise project efficiency and effectiveness. Your duties will encompass the creation and assessment of business plans, project feasibility analysis, and effectively communicating the advantages of different investment strategies.

Leadership is a significant component of this role as you will mentor a team of project managers and support the growth of junior team members.

This position is ideal for an experienced Project Manager looking to break through career limitations and embrace more significant responsibilities with a clear pathway to becoming an Associate Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing a variety of exciting projects across different sectors.
• Providing expert advice to clients to enhance project outcomes.
• Developing and evaluating business plans, assessing project viability.
• Communicating and justifying investment strategies to stakeholders.
• Leading and mentoring a team of project managers and supporting junior staff.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

• Should ideally be accredited by RICS, APM, CIOB, or currently working towards
• A Construction Related Degree Qualification
• Previous Project Management experience within a UK Construction Consultancy is a MUST
• Demonstrates experience in managing projects across a range of construction sectors
• A successful track record running projects, through all RIBA stages, from inception to completion
