Senior Design Manager

Design Manager or Senior Design Manager - Multi Storey Residential Projects

Hotels , Student Accommodation and PRS projects.

(Role will be a mix of Birmingham sites to start and time in their new office in North Solihull).

My client is one of the UK's largest and most succesful privately owned main contractors, with a busy and fast growing workload.

Exciting time to join the business as they open a new office in the west midlands due to organic growth.
As a result of securing further new projects, this employer is looking to strengthen their team further with the appointment of a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to work on a range of Building Sector projects, initially in the multi storey residential sector. Previous experience in this sector is ideal but not essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this Design Manager role you must meet the following criteria:

- Knowledge of Building Sector.
- Previous employment as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, Design Manager. Architecture or Design Engineering backgrounds also considered.
- Previous experience in building sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Extra Care Housing, MOJ, Industrial, Education or Healthcare.
- Ideally previous Main Contractor employment but not essential.
- High level of communication skills.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).

REMUNERATION:

The successful Design Manager will receive:

*50,000 - 80,000 Basic (Dependant on experience)
*Car Allowance
*Healthcare
*Pension (very competitive).
