Senior Project Manager

Gleeson Recruitment Group have just been briefed on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing business based out of either Birmingham or Cheshire. We are looking for a versatile Project Manager who can cover end to end project delivery across multiple variations of projects

Responsibilities

• End to End project management responsibility for shaping and deliveringmulti-workstream projects / programmes (ideally both hardware and software implementations).
  • Typically manages several different projects concurrently.
  • Manages interdependencies both internal and external parties.
• Responsible for ensuring the appropriate governance and controls are followed to assist and support the successful delivery of the project.
• Steering Group and Workshop facilitation, reporting and updating the company PPM tool.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced team members to aid their development and increase capability.
• Demonstrable experience planning and managing various sized projects and duration.
• A knowledge of information systems across several different business and technology areas.
• Ability to build consensus and manage diverse, group-wide business stakeholders through influence.
• 7+ years' experience working as a project manager.
• Enjoys problem-solving, working in teams, and taking initiative.
• Any technical awareness of disparate infrastructure, IT system consolidation would be highly advantageous.
• Experience of running the following types of project will make the candidate stand out:
  • Enterprise system regular release /update delivery (ERP, CRM etc)
  • Integration infrastructure and middleware
  • Data infrastructure and BI solutions
  • 3rdParty vendor management
  • CyberSecurity projects (e.g. firewall migration, DLP or endpoint protection rollout)
  • Legacy system archiving and decommissioning
  • EUC h/w implementations
