Senior Project Manager

Location - Birmingham

Salary - Up to £125,000 per annum + Additional Benefits
My client are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to manage all National Rail interfacing packages on a day to day basis to ensure that the NR related packages are planned, managed and control through its life-cycle

Senior Project Manager key responsibilties:

Build strong relationships with NR stations operations and internal stakeholders, setting up communication channels.
Project manage interfacing packages (e.g., Park Street Bridge, Green Rd) and lead preparation/submission of work packages, Forms Cs, H/Gs, and other NR deliverables.
Chair weekly planning meetings between NR and construction teams, ensuring operations are considered in planning and methodology.
Manage possessions, including planning and booking, and oversee NR interface activities and updates.
Lead interface management per the Interface Management Plan, including the Interface Control Document and Register, and chair/interface meetings.
Support NR in negotiations and presentations to stakeholders, including the public, unions, and transport groups.
Act as main point of contact for emergency incidents and arrange condition inspections and making-good works for NR assets.
Ensure commitments to NR Station Operations are tracked and complied with; oversee rail deliveries and agree rail windows with NR.
Manage activities to protect NR assets, both physically and through monitoring.
Knowledge of NR engineering assurance standards (NR/L2/CIV/003, NR/L2/INI/02009, NR/L2/INI/P3M/101).

Senior Project Manager key competencies:

Excellent understanding of NR rail operations
Good understanding of project planning and construction methodology.
Understanding of rail freight operations

Qualifications Required:

Relevant experience of rail operations
Relevant experience in NR projects or managing NR interfaces
Past experience of major construction
Degree, HNC or similar higher education qualification
