Job Title: Senior Project Manager - SITS IT Project (Hybrid)
Location: West Midlands (Hybrid)
Salary: 52,000 - 60,000
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a significant IT project focused on the implementation and enhancement of the SITS (Student Information Management) system. This is a senior role, offering the opportunity to oversee complex project delivery while ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SITS IT project, coordinating resources and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop, manage, and track project plans, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams.
- Ensure project governance, risk management, and compliance with organisational standards.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, reporting on project progress and managing expectations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the system, ensuring alignment with user needs and requirements.
- Provide expertise in project methodology, with a focus on Prince2 best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Prince2 Practitioner certification is essential.
- Proven experience in senior project management, particularly with IT system implementations.
- Strong understanding of SITS or similar Student Information Systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex project environments.
- Experience with hybrid working environments is an advantage.
