Job Title: Commercial Finance Business Partner
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
As a key member of the finance team, you'll act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight and analysis to drive informed decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenges, collaboration, and making a tangible difference to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with operational and commercial teams to understand their goals and challenges.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, reporting, and commentary to drive performance and profitability.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Influence business decisions by presenting clear and actionable financial insights.
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
- Ensure financial controls are adhered to and improved where necessary.
The Successful Applicant:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) / QBE
- Proven experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a meaningful way.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and support senior stakeholders.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on adding value.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems is advantageous.
