The Role

  • Source and purchase construction materials, furniture, fixtures, and other interior fit-out items in line with project requirements and specifications.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Manage relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier relationships, ensuring reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Review project requirements and work closely with project managers, site managers, and design teams to ensure that materials meet technical specifications and project timelines.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Oversee the procurement of subcontractor services required for interiors fit-out work, including ensuring contracts are signed and terms are adhered to.
  • Ensure all purchases align with project budgets and timelines, making adjustments when necessary.
  • Evaluate and report on supplier performance, identifying potential risks and resolving any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Process purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries to project sites.
  • Assist with budget forecasting and financial reporting for procurement activities related to fit-out projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies during the procurement process.
