Booghe Toys, are seeking 2 experienced buyers, to join a growing e-commerce and retail business, specialising in licenced toys, games and collectables. You will play a crucial role in curating and expanding our product assortment, ensuring a diverse and appealing range of products for our customers. This position prefers expertise in the toy and game market, as well as experience in managing listings on various ecommerce platforms

Permanent role onsite in Erdington, Birmingham B24 9QR.
Full-Time 40 Hrs per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Selection and Sourcing:

• Identify and source new and trending toys, games and stationery to enhance our product catalogue.
• Evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product selection.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms.

Marketplace Optimization:

• Manage and optimize product listings on ecommerce platforms to maximize visibility and sales.
• Continuously improve product content for better search rankings.

Supplier Management:

• Collaborate with existing suppliers and actively seek new partnerships to diversify the product range.
• Negotiate favourable terms, including pricing, MOQs, and delivery schedules.

Inventory Planning:

• Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Utilise forecasting tools to predict demand and facilitate timely replenishment.

Market Analysis and Pricing Strategy:

• Analyse market prices and competitive landscape to set competitive yet profitable pricing.
• Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.

Collaboration with Marketing:

• Work closely with the marketing team to align product assortment with promotional campaigns.
• Utilise supplier advertising tools to enhance product visibility and drive sales.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Buyer preferably in the toys and games industry.
• Good knowledge of shop Amazon., eBay marketplaces and Shopify
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on sales data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic e-commerce environment.

Education: 2/3 Years buying experience
