Our client, a prominent and established organisation in the transport industry is looking for a curious and proactive procurement co-ordinator with a positive attitude who can support the category manager to deliver and effective procurement service.
In this role, you will support the procurement team with the preparation of contracts, coordinate suppliers and record performance as well as monitor market trends. You will process invoices, support the preparation of reports and keep suppliers details updated on an in house system. You will work closely with the category manager to ensure effective recording of all procurement data and contract documents.
Previous experience working within a similar role in a procurement function is desirable but not essential and someone with experience working in a finance team providing administrative support could also be considered.
