We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their site in Tyseley and join a small but established team.

Salary = £27-30,000 per annum
Hours = Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8:00am-1:30pm
Location = Tyseley (based in the office) 5 min walk from Tyseley station

Day-to-day of the role:
- Raising and amending purchase orders.
- Progressing orders and dealing with queries.
- Managing credit card purchases.
- Ensuring acknowledgements match order values.
- Managing direct deliveries to customers.
- Assisting in the administration of price negotiations.
- Providing general administrative support to the Purchase Department.
- Liaising with other departments (sales, warehouse, finance) to assist in related processes and queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have experience in a purchasing or supply chain support role
- Excellent communication skills, confident, driven, and a logical thinker.
- Strong analytical, collaborative skills and calm under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; certification is ideal.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience with modern purchasing ERP systems, ideally Acumatica.
