Description
- Manage the procurement of goods and services in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure the effective operation of the supply chain.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on procurement projects.
- Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Profile
A successful Procurement Officer should have:
- Proven experience in a procurement role within the public sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
