My client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Quality Assurance Operative. As a QA Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of all consumable products meet the highest standards. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control measures, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall product/service quality. As the sites Quality Assurance Operative, you will be requested to travel to other suppliers to carry out checks were necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To help develop quality checking plans and processes.
  • To communicate quality performance to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • To help and manage corrective action and continuous improvement plans.
  • Perform routine inspections of products/services to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and document any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities in products/services.
  • Collaborate with production/manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct quality audits and evaluations to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and protocols.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on quality control processes and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills with strong numeracy skills.
  • Familiarity with quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other office applications.
