Our client, a leading company in the food and drink industry, is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional who is passionate about driving the quality agenda forward and improving both product standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
-Take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure it meets all internal and external compliance requirements.
-Lead the Quality team on site, providing guidance, support, and development.
-Collaborate closely with the Production team to align quality standards with operational processes.
-Act as the lead for the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) team.
-Lead all external audits and ensure the company is fully prepared for customer visits.
-Drive continuous improvements to reduce customer complaints and enhance the quality of service.
Key Requirements:
-Proven experience in managing a team within a quality function in a similar role.
-Strong understanding of BRC standards and their application in a food and drink environment.
-Confidence in leading HACCP teams and ensuring food safety standards are upheld.
-Experience managing external audits and customer visits.
-Product experience is flexible, but you must have a background in the food industry.
Salary - 35,000-40,000 (Dependent on experience)
