The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will join a vibrant, supportive team of 15 in Birmingham. You will dive into a range of high-profile projects across sectors like Industrial, Residential, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Leisure, and Retail. Projects range from £5m to £30m, with some mega-projects reaching up to £200m!

This role is perfect for someone passionate about the built environment, looking for fast-paced, exciting projects. You'll never have a dull day here, as you'll be working closely with senior surveyors, gaining exposure to both pre and post-contract duties.

You'll get the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and inclusive environment, while also taking on meaningful responsibilities from day one. Whether it's liaising with clients or working on innovative projects, you'll find variety and growth every step of the way.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience working in a UK Cost Consultancy
    • Internship, Work Experience, Placement Year, Previous Graduate, Trainee or Assistant QS role
  • Confident and proactive attitude
  • Eager to work towards APC and achieve Chartership
  • Client-focused and highly motivated
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Flexible with travel, supporting projects across various sectors
