Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, they provide tailored solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.Role Overview:Seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support senior professionals in delivering cost consultancy services. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills and progress toward becoming a full Quantity Surveyor.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct measurement and billing using sector-relevant standards (e.g., MMHW, CESMM, NRM).
- Prepare preamble notes, codify measured works, and analyze cost data.
- Assist in estimates, cost reports, and tender documentation.
- Support contract administration, including budgeting, cost auditing, and change management.
- Maintain records, manage documentation, and attend client meetings.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to timely project delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade 4+), including English, Maths, and Science.
- Relevant degree (preferred, minimum 2.1) with experience in cost management and contract administration.
- Strong IT proficiency (Excel essential).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, innovative mindset.
