We are working with a large contractor, undertaking a variety of schemes in the West Midlands. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, someone who's looking to grow their career.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Create cost-to-complete reports and ensure accurate monthly accruals are prepared.
* Assess and manage subcontract valuations and process applications for payment.
* Perform cost analysis for subcontracts, from initial tender enquiry to final contract placement.
* Supervise and manage subcontract agreements to ensure smooth operations.
* Track and maintain profitability targets.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Experience working for a contractor previously
* Self-driven with the ability to provide guidance to junior Quantity Surveyors.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to technology / software
