Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Birmingham - Permanent


PSR are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Residential company.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing the commercial aspects of residential projects, working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers. You will play an essential role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

* Create cost-to-complete reports and ensure accurate monthly accruals are prepared.
* Assess and manage subcontract valuations and process applications for payment.
* Perform cost analysis for subcontracts, from initial tender enquiry to final contract placement.
* Supervise and manage subcontract agreements to ensure smooth operations.
* Track and maintain profitability targets


Essential Qualifications and Skills


* Experience working for a developer previously
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Self-driven with the ability to support on large schemes
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to technology / software
