Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced MRICS Quantity Surveyor, with several years of delivering high-value property projects (JCT or NEC contracts preferred) from inception through to completion, within a client-side or consultancy background. Strong experience in Employers Agent work is essential.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Lead and chair meetings, demonstrating strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills when required.
- Oversee pre- and post-contract services, ensuring cost control, valuation processes, and reporting are handled effectively.
- Manage cost checks, conduct valuations, negotiate final accounts, and implement change control processes.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Skills & Experience Required:
- MRICS qualified or working towards APC.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role.
- Exceptional planning, organisation, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Proven ability to lead project teams, resolve complex issues, and make informed decisions.
