Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary: up to £65,000.
Location: Birmingham
 
About the Role:
 
My client is presenting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor at a renowned specialist asset maintenance contractor for highways. In this pivotal role within the site delivery team, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for various commercial aspects across a range of projects. Key responsibilities include:
 
- Managing commercial procedures and providing support to site teams.
- Analyzing site records and data to optimize cost control and value recovery.
- Overseeing subcontract works packages, from pre-tender through to post-contract phases.
- Skillfully handling subcontract payments, monitoring cashflow, and spend profiles.
- Collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to comprehend diverse structures, technologies, and their commercial implications.
 
Qualifications and Skills Required:
 
- Previous experience in a highways or related field environment.
- Must have NEC contract experience
- Eligibility to work and reside in the UK at the time of joining.
- Ideally, a full UK driver's license at the time of joining.
- Experience as a quantity surveyor in a previous role
