We are working with a rapidly growing electrically biased M&E contractor with a turnover of 25m and a strong reputation delivering across sectors for leading main contractors who are looking for an MEP Quantity Surveyor (or senior). Reporting to a commercial manager you will based from their head office in Liverpool and have an overview of 2-3 schemes simultaneously (12m-18m) with an overview of all relevant commercial activities at all stages of the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract

  • Prepare Tender Risk Analysis and contract documentation.
  • Develop Project Execution Plans and Procurement Strategies.

Contract Management

  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontract terms.
  • Manage procurement schedules and subcontract documentation.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and ensure compliance with project documentation.

Risk & Change Management

  • Maintain variation logs and recover non-liability costs.
  • Review site programs for delays and manage commercial risks.

Cost Management

  • Generate accurate cost control reports.
  • Administer and value subcontractor accounts using financial systems.

Value & Cash Management

  • Maximise project value through work measurement and account preparation.
  • Ensure positive cash flow through payment administration.

General

  • Enhance client relationships to secure future opportunities.
  • Present monthly project and business review reports.
