Our client is well established in the Civil Engineering sector, and boasts a diverse array of projects across the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role both on-site and head office activities, contributing to the growth and success of their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of projects costs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgets.

  • Implements precise measurement and valuation processes for all aspects of groundworks projects.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Provide regular financial reports and updates on project financial status, whilst identifying any cost overruns and implementing corrective actions.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of financial transactions and project-related documentation.

What are we looking for?

A background in the civil engineering sector is essential for this role, ideally in groundworks civil engineering subcontracting. As well as:

  • Proven track record in project quantity surveying, with a focus on cost management and contract administration.

  • Strong understanding on construction contracts, including JCT and NEC.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Detail-orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
