A dynamic and fast-growing Construction & Property Consultancy based in Birmingham is seeking a client-facing Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.

Operating out of three strategic offices, this highly reputable firm has established a strong presence in the Birmingham market and currently boasts a Quantity Surveying team of six.

The Quantity Surveyors' role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will become a key member of a thriving team, contributing to the company's ambitious growth plans. With a projected turnover of £2 million this year and a goal of £2.85 million next year, the firm aims to expand its group turnover from £8 million to £20 million within the next four years. The new Quantity Surveyor will benefit from a diverse and exciting pipeline of secured projects across various sectors, including industrial, offices, education, build-to-rent, student accommodation, biodiversity, ecclesiastical, listed buildings, public projects, and automotive. Project values typically range from £300k to £60m, with a major scheme exceeding £400m.

The Quantity Surveyor

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will enjoy working in a friendly and dynamic environment, be eager to work autonomously within a flexible firm and grow with a team long term.

  • MRICS ideally or currently working towards and in need of greater APC support
  • Holds a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related degree
  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a UK Consultancy
  • A successful track record running projects from inception to completion is highly desirable
  • Strong Pre and Post Contract experience
  • A valid UK driving license
