Quantity Surveyor

Anderselite are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in façades and external envelope packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a range of façade projects, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, valuations, and final accounts for façade projects.
Oversee commercial management of cladding, curtain walling, rainscreen façades, and glazing works.
Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost reporting and budget control.
Conduct tender analysis and subcontractor procurement for façade works, ensuring best value.
Review and negotiate façade contracts, variations, and claims in line with commercial strategy.
Identify value engineering opportunities for façade systems to optimize cost and design efficiency.
Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire safety standards, and NHBC warranty requirements.
Assist in resolving commercial disputes related to façade works.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the façade, cladding, or curtain walling sector.
Strong understanding of building envelope solutions, architectural glazing, and lightweight steel framing systems.
Experience in cost control, procurement, contract administration, and change management.
Familiarity with JCT, NEC, and bespoke façade contracts.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to liaise with design teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction Management.
Proficiency in QS software tools such as CostX, Buildsoft, or Bluebeam Revu.
