Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering & Groundworks

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working on a range of civil engineering and groundworks projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a dynamic and growing company.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing cost control and financial reporting across multiple projects
  • Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Ensuring projects remain on budget and commercially viable
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts, tenders, and subcontracts
  • Conducting site visits and progress assessments
  • Collaborating with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports for cost analysis
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering or groundworks
  • Strong knowledge of NEC & JCT contracts
  • Excellent cost management and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (travel to sites required)
