Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering & Groundworks
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working on a range of civil engineering and groundworks projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a dynamic and growing company.
Responsibilities:- Managing cost control and financial reporting across multiple projects
- Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Ensuring projects remain on budget and commercially viable
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts, tenders, and subcontracts
- Conducting site visits and progress assessments
- Collaborating with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
- Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
- Maintaining accurate records and reports for cost analysis
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering or groundworks
- Strong knowledge of NEC & JCT contracts
- Excellent cost management and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (travel to sites required)
