Description
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction.
- Advise on procurement strategy and assist in establishing a client's requirements.
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Ensure that post-construction as-built drawings and specifications are prepared.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of construction.
Profile
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of construction contracts and tendering processes.
- A strong understanding of construction project management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
