A chartered consultancy in Birmingham is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to increased workload. The role is site-based, offering a permanent position with a salary range of £45,000 to £55,000, along with 24 days of holiday and a performance-related bonus.
Operating predominantly on the contractor side, this consultancy provides Quantity Surveying support services to some of the UK's leading construction projects. The work primarily involves government refurbishment works spanning various sectors such as prisons, MOD, housing/commercial, and infrastructure. As a Quantity Surveyor in Birmingham, you will oversee Social Housing refurbishment schemes, based on-site.
You will initially be working on void properties but will also get involved in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
Your responsibilities will include managing subcontractor accounts, payments, variation control, and valuations. The ideal candidate should have substantial Quantity Surveying experience, particularly in social housing projects.

The working hours for this role are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8 am to 4:30 pm on Fridays.
