Senior Quantity Surveyor – HS2 – Birmingham

AA Euro Group have been retained to hire a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a large infrastructure project in Birmingham, 

Role Purpose:

Assists in the companies commercial position by developing and implementing an in-depth knowledge of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes relating to contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project
• In depth knowledge and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes
• Effective client relationship management to encourage smooth commercial progression of the contract(s)
• Demonstrates and maintains a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and works closely with the delivery team to develop techniques and solutions to meet business and customer needs
• Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns and make recommendations to appoint and places subcontracts accurately and on time

Experience:

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
• Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB
• Previous experience working in a civils/infrastructure project as a Quantity Surveyor.
