An award-winning, fast growing Construction & Property Consultancy in Birmingham is looking to add an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

Operating out of three strategic offices, this highly reputable firm has established a strong presence in the Birmingham market and currently boasts a Quantity Surveying team of five and a wider team of 25+. This is a pivotal role that will contribute significantly to the company's growth.

With a current turnover projected to reach £2 million this year and an ambitious goal of £2.85 million next year, the firm aims to expand its group turnover from £8 million to £20 million in the next four years. This growth trajectory makes it an ideal time to join the company.

They have secured an impressive pipeline of projects which will see them primed to achieve these exciting expansion goals. Not sector specific, this consultancy gets involved in an interesting variety of projects including industrial, offices, education, build-to-rent, student accommodation, biodiversity, ecclesiastical, listed buildings, public projects, and automotive, with typical values ranging from £300k to £60m, and a major scheme exceeding £400m.

This role offers a clear path to Directorship within two years for the right candidate, providing an exceptional chance for career advancement and professional development.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will enjoy working in a friendly and dynamic environment, be eager to work autonomously within a flexible firm and help grow the team long term.

You will also have:

  • MRICS ideally or currently working towards
  • Holds a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related degree
  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a UK Consultancy
  • A successful track record managing projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent Pre and Post Contract experience
