Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take on high-profile, career-defining projects?



As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be at the forefront of commercial project management, ensuring the successful financial delivery of complex high-rise student accommodation schemes. You'll lead cost control, procurement, and contract management processes, collaborating closely with the project team to achieve exceptional outcomes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Procure subcontract packages and manage supplier relationships.
  • Conduct valuations, variations, and final account negotiations.
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and provide accurate cost reporting.
  • Mitigate risks and maximize project profitability.
  • Provide support and leadership to junior team members


About You

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to large-scale, high-rise residential or student accommodation projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC contracts.
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline (RICS accreditation desirable).
