Senior Quantity Surveyor Overview:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll oversee the commercial management of facade projects from tender through to final accounts. Working closely with project teams and clients, you'll ensure the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing detailed tender submissions, budgets, and cost plans.
- Conducting accurate cost analysis and value engineering.
- Leading contract negotiations and managing subcontractor agreements.
- Monitoring project finances, forecasting, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations.
- Mitigating risks and resolving disputes.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Substantial experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the facades or external envelope sector.
- Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
