Our client is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing change management and claims within assigned work packages
- Utilising NEC4 contracts to ensure project compliance and effective cost control
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely quantity surveying services
- Providing expert advice on cost strategies and contractual matters
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules
- Preparing detailed reports and documentation for internal and external review
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination between on-site and remote teams
- Supporting rail and station projects, leveraging relevant background experience where beneficial
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quantity surveying within the highways sector
- Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Expertise in managing change and claims using NEC4 contracts
- Capability to work effectively both on-site and remotely
- Understanding of cost control and contractual compliance
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in preparing reports and documentation
- Background in rail and station projects would be advantageous
