An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a high-profile infrastructure project in Birmingham. As part of the site-based Change Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing change processes on this complex and challenging project.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Change Management Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and reporting on project changes, ensuring alignment with objectives and budgets.
  • Working closely with commercial managers and project teams to ensure effective contract administration.
  • Providing detailed analysis and recommendations on the impacts of changes to the project management team.
  • Offering support and guidance on cost estimates, forecasts, and valuations for all change-related matters.
  • Managing client and stakeholder expectations professionally throughout all stages of the project.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the infrastructure sector.
  • Strong expertise in change management, including cost control and contract administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract suites.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach.
