Recardo Group are currently representing a rapidly growing construction company in the hire of a Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager. The purpose of this role is supporting the Contracts Manager on a day-to-day basis with a view of progressing to Contracts Manager and running your own projects.

The successful candidate will receive:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Mixture of office and client based visits
  • Attending briefing meetings with customers, architects to scope projects
  • Produce tender quotes for approval
  • Sub-contract and supplier negotiation and procurement
  • Programming and ensuring projects are on programme
  • Quality checking and control
  • Day to day Troubleshooting
  • Organising site setup alongside the Site Manager and H&S Manager
  • Recording variations and producing final account
  • Building strong relationships with customers

The successful candidate will have:

  • Started a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a similar field
  • A full clean driving license
  • Great communications skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
