Job Summary:Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Therapeutic Radiographer to join the team on a temporary basis with Birmingham NHS. This role will involve delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment to patients, providing compassionate care, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Radiotherapy Delivery: Administer precise radiotherapy treatments as prescribed by oncology consultants, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Patient Care and Support: Provide empathetic and comprehensive care, guiding patients and families through their treatment journey.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain radiotherapy equipment, conduct routine quality checks, and report issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records, follow NHS policies and protocols, and adhere to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent, with HCPC registration.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a therapeutic radiography role within the NHS is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Must be able to commit to full-time hours on a temporary basis.
