We are looking for an experienced Transport administrator for a permanent position within a factory environment. The role is to be a key role within the transport department organising and coordinating the drivers primarily.

Responsibilities for this Transportation Administrator role

  • Organising day to day transport for customers and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Answering telephone calls, which will include customer enquiries, to progress customer orders, arrange transport requests and to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Responding promptly to customer progress requests.
  • Arranging delivery of courier consignments
  • Manage and monitor the dedicated customer service inbox, ensuring all queries are acknowledged and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with any Customer Service, Transport, Purchasing, Sales and Health & Safety administration.
  • Scanning, Filing.
