We are delighted to be seeking an Audiovisual Equipment Auditor to join a fantastic IT Services team for a prestigious University. This temporary role is key in ensuring the accuracy and performance of the university's audiovisual assets. You will audit AV equipment across 500+ environments, updating records and identifying issues to ensure reliability.

  • Job Type: Temporary - 3 months approximately
  • Salary: £27,991 or £14.54 per hour
  • Location: Birmingham Central (All Sites) Working Arrangements: 100% On-Campus Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit audiovisual equipment across classrooms, lecture theatres, and meeting rooms.
  • Update asset management systems with metadata, serial numbers, and asset details.
  • Tag and record AV components not in the system.
  • Report malfunctions or discrepancies through the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
  • Work with IT support and timetabling teams to ensure complete coverage of AV spaces.
