Lettings Administrator - Birmingham - £25k
My client is a multi-award-winning estate and letting agent based in the heart of Birmingham city centre. Renowned for letting, managing and selling on high-quality apartments in the city centre, they focus on a niche market and do it expertly. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer service professional to progress their career into the property sector.
The role involves supporting the Property Management team with a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask and prioritise effectively. We are looking for someone who can manage this responsibility with ease and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for administration, checklists, and completing tasks are essential. Efficiency is important, while ensuring that tasks and issues are handled with care and attention. Proficiency with technology and software is required. While prior property management experience is not essential, we do seek experience in administration.
Main Duties:
- Key management - preparing keys each day for contractors and signing in any returned keys from contractors and tenants.
- Processing and creating paperwork for agreed tenancy extensions and vacates.
- Updating the relevant software with new tenancy details
- Administration of utility paperwork
- Placing orders for items and fobs for apartments
- Organising and requesting compliance documents
- Compiling property inspection reports and surrounding administration
- Sending various communications on behalf of the Property Managers via our software
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects for the Property Management and Lettings team
- Assisting with the onboarding of new properties
- Assisting the wider team during busy times by answering phones and dealing with enquiries

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a full-time role based in a city centre office for around 90% of your time. Around 10% of your time will be spent out of the office on site and client visits.
