An exciting opportunity for an Account Handler to join a specialist Real Estate & Construction team following recent business wins. This division accounts for around 45% of the business and manages two major property portfolios, one with 500 properties and another with 250, with the potential to grow to 1,500 to 2,000. The role involves high-volume processing, responding to regular insurer enquiries, and handling technical queries.Working closely with insurers, you will be involved in a delegated authority scheme. You will also use spreadsheets to manage data effectively and ensure accurate reporting. Supporting Account Executives, you will assist with renewals, adjustments, and negotiations with insurers.The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial insurance, particularly within property portfolios. You should be comfortable handling large data sets, managing high volumes of processing, and working under pressure. Strong technical knowledge and confidence in dealing with insurer queries are essential. Candidates from an insurer background who understand the market will be considered, and there is also flexibility to consider junior candidates with a solid understanding of insurance.A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer, including a pension scheme and private medical cover.
