THE OPPORTUNITY:Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Property Leasing Manager working for an organisation based in Birmingham. In this role you will manage a small team and act as the middle party between a tennant and a landlord.The purpose of this role is to provide strategic oversight and leadership for a hub/office based team of Lease Administrators and Coordinators enabling the collection, collation and management of information and documentation across the property portfolio. This includes property certification compliance, the production and administration of leases and notices after relevant approvals and instructions are issued by Regional Leasing Managers and Heads of Service.This is a full time permanent role which is fully office based.THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Delivery and performance of the leasing administration team, with a strong focus on meeting contractual requirements, overseeing the property approval processes for all business streams. This role plays a key part in the production of a range of high level business information and strategic, reporting to senior leadership across all levels and directorates within the organisation, and with any relevant external stakeholders. To ensure administrative activities that support the delivery of the overall objectives of the Leasing function are delivered on time and accuratelyTo build and develop strong strategic relationships across internal and external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Justice, Police, Local Authorities and property partners. EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: To be successful in this role, you will need at least two years professional experience in contract management, compliance and business processes in relation to property leasing and/or management. It would also be beneficial to have people management experience and to be a confident and effective communicator to both internal and external stakeholders, across all levels. A key aspect of this role is the maintenance, interpretation and presentation of data, therefore significant confidence in Excel and data would be key.
