We have an exciting opportunity partnering with a prestigious Birmingham city centre organisation, who are seeking a Corporate Receptionist to support them in delivering excellent reception and hospitality services to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a smart and tidy reception area at all times
  • Operate the company switchboard transferring calls and taking messages
  • Greet clients on arrival and assist in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage the Outlook diary and schedule appointments
  • Complete food hygiene and health & safety training
  • Assist with in-house events
  • Arrange and order breakfasts, lunches, and dinners as required
  • Liaise with external caterers and maintain a clean, food hygiene-compliant kitchen
  • Complete daily/monthly checklists, audits, and procedures for Client Services
  • Order stock and conduct monthly stock-takes
  • Code and reconcile invoices
  • Monitor and maintain meeting rooms to a high standard
  • Set up conference calls and assist with travel/hotel bookings for internal clients
  • Undertake First Aid and Fire Marshall duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Reception/Hospitality/Corporate Receptionist role
  • Experience using a switchboard
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with people at all levels
  • A team player with outstanding customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and approach
  • Ability to use tact, discretion, and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Flexibility with shift patterns
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Eager to learn, efficient, and willing to go the extra mile when needed
  • Punctual with excellent time management skills

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based on a 7.5-hour shift pattern between 07:30 and 18:00.
