Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-class receptionist services, acting as the first point of contact for all visitors
  • Ensure all visitors have a positive experience, delivering a memorable service and visitor journey
  • Notify colleagues of visitors, ensuring they are checked in and out
  • Answer incoming calls, direct calls as appropriate and relay messages when necessary
  • Handle administration tasks, which include handling post, ordering stationery, and filing documents
  • Keep a clear and professional working environment, ensuring the reception is a welcoming area
  • Organise food and drinks for meetings and ensure meeting and conference rooms are prepared

Receptionist Skills and Experience:

  • Considerable experience as a Receptionist or Administrator is essential
  • Professional in your approach with an excellent telephone manner
  • A natural people-person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Versatile, happy to take on ad-hoc tasks where necessary
  • Strong organisation skills, able to prioritise
  • IT literate, confident user of Outlook, Teams, and Word
