Special Needs School Receptionist Based in Moseley, Birmingham £13.50ph Your new school An Special Needs School based over 3 sites for complex disabilities in South Birmingham is looking for a temporary School Receptionist. This school receptionist job is 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday term time only. This is a long term role with potential permanent opportunities for the right candidate. Your new job The school reception is a very busy and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting parents, visitors and pupils as well as answering and transferring calls and taking messages and ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered too. What you'll need to succeedFor this school receptionist job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
