Internal Recruitment Consultant

Location: Birmingham, B3 2TA

Salary: £26,750 - £36,950 + Commission

Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00. Reduced hours in school holidays.

This is a full-time, permanent role. You’ll be working Monday – Friday, fully office based. You will therefore need eligibility to work in the UK.

This position involves zero business development, yet includes a lucrative commission structure. You will be financially rewarded for every hire! You will be increasing your monthly take-home pay as well as your basic salary as a result of all your hard work.

The role of a Talent Acquisition Consultant:

The TAQ Recruitment Team work to bring in all new talent across the business, from Recruitment Consultants to Directors to Administration staff. We pride ourselves in recruiting and developing our candidates to allow them to thrive and become the best in their sector. Recruitment experience is not required, however we are looking for people who are confident, have great communication skills and are ambitious.

General duties will include:

  • Managing the candidate recruitment life cycle, from qualification to post offer stage
  • Selling our company to your candidates
  • Creating and posting job advertisements
  • Building a rapport with applicants and ensuring positive, friendly communication throughout.
  • Identifying talent through various channels such as ad responses, LinkedIn, CV searches, referrals
  • Screening CVs and conducting telephone interviews
  • Liaising and building relationships with hiring managers across the business
  • Daily meeting and weekly KPIs and targets
  • General recruitment administration
  • Working in tandem with our Learning and Development team to allow smooth transition into the company
  • Working in a high volume, fast-paced environment
